DESCRIPTION:Jimmy WeinstockAfter graduating from Villanova University in 2017 with a BS in Environmental Science\, Jimmy decided to live in Australia for a year. It was an opportunity to spend time away from outside influence where Jimmy could find a path to creating a life designed around his own ambitions.  This is the year when Jimmy picked up a guitar\, sang in public\, and began writing songs all for the first time.  Returning home to Connecticut in 2018 with a dream and a plan he began attending countless open mics where he conquered the nerves of performing and developed a repertoire of cover songs. In 2019 Jimmy performed at his first paid gig at The Goose Bar & Bistro in his hometown of Darien\, CT. After the height of the Covid pandemic\, Jimmy settled in Newport\, RI. He quickly became a regular acoustic act performing covers for locals and tourists at Rhode Island staples such as One Pelham East.  Soon after\, Jimmy found a fruitful partnership with local musician Matt Reynolds and they would expand to duo performances. Their talent and love for performing caught the attention of an established local cover band who brought them both on board. Today in 2025\, as the lead singer for Angelus Hall\, Jimmy can be seen performing to crowds of hundreds every weekend at venues like Newport Blues Cafe and Ocean Mist. \nhttps://www.jimmyweinstock.com
