Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!

Do you have plans?
Have you made reservations?
What gifts are on your list for the one you love?

Are we stressing you out because you’re not sure what to do yet? It’s OK, we’ve got you covered! Sometimes a night at home is the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. You can make it special. You can make it fun. And you can make it romantic. We have 5 ideas sure to make Valentine’s Day a success!

Scavenger Hunt: Create a fun scavenger hunt throughout the house for your love. Think of 6-8 clues that you could create that would lead your love room to room. Have some fun with it! Need some inspiration? Start your Scavenger Hunt with the clue, “I can’t start my day without this yummy breakfast item!” Lead your love to a cereal you love or a piece of fruit you love, whatever you eat in the morning! On that food item, leave the next clue! It’s so much fun! At the end of the Scavenger Hunt have a beautiful love note waiting!

Heart Shape Pizza: Why eat out when you can eat right at home! Create a delicious pizza from scratch shaped like a heart! How romantic and fun at the same time. Top your pizza with whatever feasts your fancy and enjoy!

Recite a Poem you Wrote: There’s nothing more special than expressing your love for one another. Write a poem that reflects how you feel about the one you love. It doesn’t have to be serious, it can be funny, too. Just have some fun with it and express what’s in your heart. And yes – read them aloud to each other.

Game Night: Sometimes you just need a really great excuse (what’s better than Valentine’s Day!) to kick back and enjoy a fun game together! Maybe you’re playing cards. Maybe you’re playing Monopoly. Maybe you’re playing Scrabble. Maybe you’re playing Twister! Grab a game that brings you joy. Laugh! Be together! Enjoy! It’s always so much fun to have an excuse for a game night!

Wine by Candlelight: Did you think we wouldn’t mention wine!? Oh, yes… talk about relaxing. You, your love, a glass of wine and candlelight. With our lives so busy, it’s a great idea to do something that’s relaxing on Valentine’s Day. Sit and talk for hours! Tune out the stresses of the day. Tune out work. Tune out everything but each other!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
