It’s a great destination for families! Our top tips for traveling to Nantucket with kids:

The Children’s Beach park and playground is a nice area for families. The view of the ferries coming in and out of the harbor is a fun perk while kids play on the beach and playground. During the summer, the park has lots of organized activities, such as tie-dying T-shirts or free movie nights.
Bring your pup: Your furry family member is very welcome in Nantucket! Several hotels allow dogs and with tons of outdoor dining options and dog-friendly beaches, you’ll be able to include the whole family.
The Historical Society offers a pass for all the spots on the island, including The Whaling Museum. The children’s discovery center is a  fun stop for kids. Bring your bikes for an easy way to get around and gaze at the gorgeous houses!

Looking for cheap food on Nantucket is a stretch when you’re feeding a whole family but don’t despair! For great deals at the restaurants, why not check out their lunch menus? Typically lower in price, it’s a great way to get to try the food without breaking the bank!
And no trip to Nantucket would be complete without a stop at the Juice Bar for ice cream after dinner. You will see a line around the block, but don’t be intimidated. It moves fast and you can decide what flavor you want while you  smell the delicious waffle cones they make while you wait.
