How about putting those leftover wine corks to good use this holiday season? Here’s a craft that is not only easy but useful! Sometimes the best projects are the most simple, and this DIY place wine cork place card holder is an elegant way to dress up your Thanksgiving table.
Materials List
– 10 wine corks
– 10 3-½” x 2″ pieces of blank cardstock
– Utility Knife
– Marker, calligraphy pen or printer
– Ribbon or hemp string (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Decide if you would like your wine cork place cards to stand vertically or horizontally.

Step 2: If needed, level the bottom of your base by cutting off an uneven excess with the utility knife.

Step 3: Using the utility knife, cut a 1-centimeter notch on the top of your holder.

Step 4: Fill out your place cards using a marker, calligraphy pen or printer and place them in the holder.

Step 5 (optional): Tie a short piece of hemp string or ribbon around the place holder for some extra flare.

If you need a few more bottles to complete the set, here’s where you can find Gooseneck Wines in your area or purchase online.
