The lazy, hazy days of summer are perfect for lingering over a glass of wine with friends. And in summer, happy hour is a piece of cake with tons of fresh appetizers you can make without ever turning on a hot stove. Set out a few nibbles, a selection of Gooseneck Wines and text a few friends for the perfect summer evening.
These Cantaloupe Caprese Skewers are a fun twist on a traditional taste. Made with just fresh basil, mozzarella and cantaloupe, this refreshing summer appetizer that takes minutes to make. Drizzle with a bit of balsamic vinegar right before serving.

Another good recipe – straight from the farmer’s market – is Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus. With two ingredients and 10 minutes, you can’t get much easier. And they taste great at room temperature, so you can prep them ahead of time.

Half each prosciutto slice and wrap around each asparagus spear at an angle, covering the entire length of the spear. Saute in a large skillet with a dash of olive oil for 2-3 minutes (until crisp) and serve.
